Blue Mountains Private Safaris and the ‘Wild Bush Luxury’ concept brings a uniquely Australian style to your stay – a ‘down to earth’ yet attentive level of service and a host and guide who is passionate about the area and its wildlife.

A private camp on the banks of the Wollondilly River bordering the Blue Mountains National Park is the setting for a very Australian bush experience.  Amidst the eucalypt and casuarina trees, your bed is a ‘swag’, the bedding of choice for generations of bushmen (see last image).  Our swags are the deluxe version, mounted on timber platforms and with 100% cotton sheets, soft pillows and a duvet for the cooler evenings.  Above you is a canopy of stars stretching across the night skies. 

Your en suite camp shower is surrounded by timber screening but open to the trees and skies above.  Waking to the smell of fresh coffee on the camp fire as the sun lights up the surrounding bush is an utterly memorable experience. 

A stay at Blue Mountains Private Safaris includes all meals, beer, wine & soft-drinks as well as guided activities such as bushwalking, wildlife viewing, canoeing and `donutting` on the river, fishing and 4 wheel drives to pionts of interest and scenic look outs. Our camp is a 45 minute scenic flight by helicopter from Western Sydney or two hours by road from the centre of Sydney. We can arrange helicopter and/or road transfers or you may self-drive. We are open all year round. We can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests. Each booking is exclusive whether it be 1 to 6 people in the group.
