Courthouse Hotel

A tattooed man in a fluffy Eskimo-style hat plays pool against two striped-socked, black-lipsticked girls in hotpants who shout "Yeah!" and punch the air at every shot. Bespectacled men in fluffy jumpers have a serious conversation.In the busy front bar students in carefully decayed jeans swing on their bar stools. Older gents, with hair styled by a stiff breeze and cigarette smoke, studiously ignore TV screens showing a liposuction procedure and an interview with Mick Jagger.

Decoration includes a signed and mounted South Sydney football jumper, Swans flags and a row of garden gnomes in team colours. There is no cocktail list but there are seven kinds of beer on tap and 20 kinds of wine.
