Situated on the high end of Mosman street, this heritage building constructed in 1888 offers a taste of yesteryear. Charters Towers is situated 1.5hrs drive west of Townsville and was built around gold mining.Walk into the past and enjoy the peace and tranquility offered in this beautiful country town.  Most ensuite rooms have spas and start at AU$90.00 per night.  For the budget conscious, there are single, double and twin share rooms with shared shower/toilets that start at AU$60.00 per night.  There is a fully equipped kitchen and lounge / TV area for use by all guests.  The sweeping verandahs offer views of Charters township and are ideal for enjoying a bottle of wine.  The hotel is within a short walk of the main business precinct along Gill street.
