This full day signature experience on Tasmania’s West Coast combines a cruise on Lady Jane Franklin II with a sea kayak trip to experience the true character of a wilderness river. After cruising from Strahan aboard Lady Jane Franklin II, the kayaks are launched at Heritage Landing, the furthest point that cruise boats can reach. With a maximum of eight people, enjoy the intimate experience with a comfortable 1.5 hour paddle upstream on the calm, quiet waters of the lower Gordon River, spotting platypus and water birds and experiencing the beauty of the wilderness. You’ll go ashore to enjoy a delicious picnic lunch on a riverbank beach in the rainforest, before drifting silently back downstream to meet the Lady Jane Franklin II’s afternoon cruise.

We can take you on a guided tour on the Henty Sand Dunes, the most magnificent sand dunes in Tasmania, or take you on a tour which will take you on a train journey, and through an ancient rainforest (Teepookana Rainforest).Our new three seater buggy now means we can take children. The buggy tour is the same as the four wheel motorbike Henty Sand Dunes one.
