MELBOURNE

Ice Café, Pub/Bar. Generally a younger mixed crowd. Has a dance floor and drag shows on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Laird, generally a masculine, leather, bear crowd on selected Saturday nights. Can be very mixed including the younger ones on Friday nights.

The Railway, a mixed crowd but generally gay on Sunday afternoons from about 3pm until late.

The Xchange, pub/bar. Generally a younger mixed crowd. Has a dance floor and drag shows on Friday and Saturday nights.

BRISBANE

Sportsmans Hotel, which is more of a pub and has a broad mix of people.

PERTH

Connections claims to be the oldest (gay) night club in Australia and possibly the world, Wednesday night mud wrestling for girls.

The Court is a gay and lesbian hotel/bar/club.

ADELAIDE

The only and of course most popular gay venue in Adelaide is the Mars Bar.

This gay club is designed with a series of raised platforms with seating and tables to give great views of the stage and dance floor. The bar atmosphere is funky and intimate and creates a mood all of its own.
