A few doors down The Midnight Shift hosts very funny drag shows and around the corner on Flinders Street ARQ attracts a large gay crowd as well and is famous for it’s foam nights and quality drag shows.

MARDI GRAS

Mardi Gras Sydney has changed it’s name to NEW MARDI GRAS and organizes not only the beautiful parade each year, but also the Sleaze Ball, and after and recovery parties for both events…

The Mardi Gras Film Festival has grown considerably since 1993. It is now one of Australia’s largest film festivals of any kind, and one of the top five queer film festivals in the world. It is highly regarded by filmmakers all over the world, and is the most important avenue for promoting gay and lesbian titles to distributors and exhibitors in this territory.
